How do I sign up?

How does it work?
Once you sign up, you’ll be able to select the plan that works best for you. Crave routine? Then our “Weekly” plan is the one for you. Tell us when to come and we’ll be there every week. Prefer a bit more flexibility? We also offer “By Request” service so you can use us only when you need us. You can choose your detergent, softener, dryer sheets, bleach and color-safe bleach from our wide assortment of familiar brands. If you have any special instructions or requests, just let us know. Last step – enter your billing information and you’re on your way to a laundry-free life.
Is there a contract?
None whatsoever. You can cancel or suspend your account at any time.
How does my laundry get weighed?
Your laundry will be weighed before we wash it. All bulk items that are charged separately are removed prior to weighing.
How do I pay?
Your card on file will be ran once your delivery is made.
Is there a minimum fee?
Yes. Our minimum per order is $25.
Can my roommate and I share an account?
Sure, but for your convenience we highly recommend you each sign up for your own account. If you do decide to share an account, you will pay together and have to separate your laundry upon its return.
Do you have a referral program?
Yes we do! All customers have a unique referral code to give out. When someone uses your code they receive a $25 credit and once they use the service you will receive a $25 credit on your account
Do I have to use your bags?
Yes. We provide the 1st bag with your order. If you should need more you can order them for $10 each.
How much does each bag hold?
Each bag holds about 30 pounds.
What time should I leave my laundry out by?
Our drivers start driving their routes as early as 6 a.m. and may continue making pickups and drop-offs into the evening. On days when you’re expecting a visit from The Laundry Nook, we’ll notify you by email, text, or through the Laundry Nook app (depending on your preferences) of your driver’s estimated arrival time. Please be aware that our drivers may contact you from their personal cell phone when they arrive.*
What is the status of my order?
Just log into your account through the Laundry Nook website or app to find out when you can expect our driver to arrive, if your clothes have been picked up or returned – and at what time – and even if they’re waiting to be washed, in the wash, or folded, packaged and ready to come home.
What if the weather is bad out?
When the weather’s bad we double-bag your laundry to make sure it’s protected from the elements. We always do our best to protect your laundry, however, we cannot be responsible for laundry that is damaged by the weather after it’s dropped off at your home.
Can I tip the driver?
Our Laundry Nook drivers work very hard to ensure your laundry is picked up and delivered safely and conveniently back to you. We’ve heard from many satisfied Laundry Nook that they appreciate the service and would like to tip the driver. If you’d like to leave them a tip after your Laundry Nook laundry delivery, make sure that the option for the “Popup” is selected in your account.
Please know that you are not required to leave a tip. It is at your sole discretion.
Do you treat stains?
Yes, we do. Please place all stained clothing in the “Special Attention” bag and let us know by including a note in the bag or on your laundry profile and we’ll do our best to get it out. While we’re usually successful at removing stains, we can’t guarantee we’ll be able to get it out. If you can pretreat the stain before putting the garment in the bag, it will increase the odds of success.
Can I choose my washer and dryer temperatures?
Yes! You can select low, medium or high for the dryer when you set up your preferences. You can select cold, warm or hot for the washer when you set up your preferences. These can also be changed and updated anytime in your account.
Can I choose to have my items folded or hung?
Yes! When you set up your preferences this will be a selection that you choose for your shirts, & pants. These can also be changed and updated anytime in your account. There is an extra charge. Please see our price page.
Will my items be washed or dried with other customers?
No. We wash and dry our customers’ laundry individually in separate machines!
